A seminar focusing on the principles of translating the Greek New Testament with some attention given to the Septuagint. The seminar consists of an intensive investigation into the philosophy, principles, and practice of modern translation theory with special attention given to the era following James BarrÕs Biblical Words and Their Meaning. Competence in New Testament Greek is required for this seminar.
